BJ Higgins

Graduated Summa Cum Lauda from the University of Washington with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology specializing in animal behavior. She trained in Malmo Sweden with Henrik Johansen and completed Modules I, II & III of "Teaching Classical Dressage". BJ continues to advance her own education and experience by attending seminars andclinics offered by a variety of clinicians.

BJ is a member of the Equestrian Institute (Dressage Director 1991), USDF (Bronze Medal, Bronze Bar), USEF and Arabian Horse Association. BJ is also a USDF "L" Graduate for Judging.

MS. Higgins has recieved numerous national Championship titles and Reserve World Championship titles in Driving and Ridden Dressage from the Morgan World Championship Horse Shows.

Horses in training have earned numerous USDF All-Breeds horse of the Year and Regional Titles in Open Dressage and Freestyle from the Arabian Association, the Morgan Association, Appalosa Horse Association and Thoroughbred Horses.

Ms. Higgins has trained and started many horses from the Seattle area which have gone on for National recognition. She has also taught many students who have gone on to World Championship titles. Regional Awards and became trainers themselves.
